A lot of people have an interest in making wine at home but their are few concerns that stops them right in their boots before even trying this process out. The most common ones are home made wine doesn't taste good, its not legal to make booze at home and is it really that safe. In this article, I would like to touch on the taste part of the whole wine making process. A lot of people have this stereotype that home made booze or wine doesn't taste good. You know what, if you are one of these people, then you know what? You are right. As booze made at home doesn't taste good at all, it tastes great!

Let me explain, when you buy beer or wine at a liquor store, they naturally have to use preservatives and chemicals to package it and seal it. Just like anything else you buy at a store that is pre-packaged, especially food items, companies who sell liquor have no choice but to find ways to preserve their product as it is meant for selling. Otherwise, these organizations will be out of business faster then you can chug your favorite beer. Is it a bad thing? No because these corporations are providing us with what we love and that is booze and I'm sure you appreciate that. However, since most of us only know how 'packaged' booze taste like, we are not aware of any possible alternatives. More importantly, how other natural alternatives taste like.

Now when you make wine at home, its a whole another ball game. You use fresh ingredients, such as juice from grapes, put it through the fermentation process by mixing yeast and sugar, wait some days and you are ready to drink. No preservatives, no add-ons just pure natural drinking. So yes their is definitely a big difference in taste when it comes to

making wine in the comfort of your own home.

Plus since you are using ingredients that are fresh, naturally your batch or your drink is going to taste better. It will taste more juicy, clean and fresh. The way wine was meant to be. Its like drinking delicious juice but after a couple glasses, you get the pleasure of feeling drunk. Again the taste depends on the kind of grapes or fruits you are using, but I

guarantee you that 99% of the time you will find that home made wine is just something you were missing out on for a long time.

Remember, natural is always the best way to go, whether its eating or drinking. Nature truly has taken care of us by providing us with some wonderful products for us to consume. So I say squeeze that fruit and lets make some booze out of it shall we! You know what they say, once you go fresh, you will never go back. Also making liquor at home is one of those rare things that actually is better if you do naturally and by yourself. What a gift wine making truly is!

Wine Tasting 101 - Understanding Aromas and Flavors
One thing that can be the most intimidating about being around experienced wine drinkers is when they start talking about the flavors and aromas they are experiencing as they swirl, sniff, and drink their wine. When I first started really getting into wine and going to more and more tastings these were the guys I'd try to steer clear of. I was just starting to understand what it meant for the wine to be "oaky" and they were talking about the spice in the nose and the leather and tobacco in the finish. When they'd look at me and ask, are you getting the green pepper, I'd just smile and nod and then look at my friend and roll my eyes. We've all be there. But as time goes on and you start tasting lots of different types of wine (and there...
